“you can combine it with any other filters — deal type, industry keywords, acquirer type, date range — to zero in on exactly the comparables you need.“
One of the most common frustrations in M&A research is finding a deal that looks perfect — right industry, right deal type, right time period — only to discover that no valuation multiples were disclosed. It’s a dead end that sends you back to the search results to try again.
We built the Only Deals With Multiples toggle to eliminate that friction.
The Problem with M&A Data
Not every M&A transaction discloses the deal terms needed to calculate valuation multiples. In practice, a significant portion of deals in any search — sometimes the majority — simply don’t have verified EV/EBITDA, EV/Revenue, or other multiples available. That means a lot of scrolling, clicking, and dead ends before you find the comps you actually need.
What the Toggle Does
The Only Deals With Multiples toggle, now available in TagniFi Deals search, filters your results to show only transactions with verified valuation multiples. One click, and every deal in your results is a deal you can actually use.
It also automatically adds the relevant multiples as columns — EV/EBITDA, EV/Revenue, EV/EBIT, Equity/Net Income, Equity/Book Value — so you can compare across deals without any additional setup.
See It in Action
Say you’re researching the medical device space. A keyword search for “medical device” returns around 4,000 transactions. That’s a lot of results to sort through, and many of those deals won’t have disclosed valuation terms.
Toggle on Only Deals With Multiples, and that list narrows to roughly 1,000 deals — every one of them with valuation multiples ready to analyze. The multiples columns populate automatically, so you’re in your analysis immediately.
That’s the kind of time savings that adds up fast when you’re building a comp set under deadline.
Where to Find It
The toggle is available in the top-right corner of the TagniFi Deals search interface. Your active filters will reflect the selection, so it’s easy to see at a glance whether the toggle is on as you refine your search.
As always, you can combine it with any other filters — deal type, industry keywords, acquirer type, date range — to zero in on exactly the comparables you need.
