We’re super excited to announce a new feature that will provide you with the ability to view the as-reported source of any TagniFi Fundamentals value in Excel simply by right clicking on that value. For example, if you want to see how we calculated other operating expenses you can click on that cell and you will now see a “View Source Data” option.
Once you select “View Source Data” a window will appear with the as-reported detail that we used to compute that standardized value. Here is an example of the source data for FedEx’s operating expenses:
The window shows the line items we included in calculating FedEx’s other operating expenses to be $19.588 billion. We’ve also included a link at the bottom of the window that will take you to the filing where this data was reported. In this case clicking on “From a 10-K filed on 2013-07-15” would open the 10-K where this data can be reviewed.
